In 2013, Swagger teamed up with manager Zeb Colter and became a self-proclaimed "real American" as he went on to unsuccessfully challenge Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Mania 29.
Swagger was last seen on WWE programming in October when he was involved in a short feud with Baron Corbin after switching from Raw to Smackdown.
He switched to wrestling full-time in his sophomore year, and in 2006, set the record for most pins in a season with 30 as an All-American.
Following a try-out, Hager signed a WWE contract in mid-2006.
She also revealed that she is single and that Mendes has been trying to set her up on dates.
"Rosa's tried to set me up on a couple of dates," Fox said.
"I just think we have different perceptions of what my type is but maybe in the near future we can get a better set of potential clients.
He made his debut for the WWE developmental territory Deep South Wrestling in September, and was moved to the Ohio Valley Wrestling territory in January 2007.
A few months later, Hager debuted for Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), where he was the final FCW Southern Heavyweight Champion and the inaugural FCW Florida Heavyweight Champion.
